Childcare opportunities

Extended Day

Abiqua Academy offers a safe, enriched environment at school for children when parents are working, and school is out. Students engage in independent and group play, enjoy teacher-directed projects and games, and utilize both indoor and outdoor areas while they are on campus. A loose schedule is implemented to include snack, lunch and rest/quiet time at predictable times to maintain consistency with a regular school day.

Childcare hours: 7 a.m.- 6 p.m. $60/full day fee or $30/half day fee



Abiqua Academy offers a safe, enriched environment before and after the school day begins. Students engage in independent and group play, enjoy teacher-directed projects and games, and utilize both indoor and outdoor areas while they are on campus. A flexible, yet structured schedule includes a snack, and rest/quiet time. Extended Day care is available for Lower and Middle School Abiqua students.

Childcare hours: 7 a.m until the start of school; end of school until 6 pm. Billed at $5.50 per hour.

Breaks and Conference Days

Childcare opportunities are also available during conference days and breaks. As with our Extended Day program, childcare during Breaks and Conferences offers a variety of teacher-directed games, projects, snacks, lunch (for full-day), and both in and outdoor play.
