Graduate heads to Stanford

Lindsey Williams is Abiqua’s first high school graduate to attend Lower, Middle and High School. For Lindsey, this means for the past twelve years, she has had an engaging education filled with hands-on activities, elaborate book projects, expert guest speakers, literary deep dives, and off-campus traveling school adventures. By now, Lindsey has attended hundreds of Family Time presentations, a dozen or so of which she personally helped lead, developing and fine-tuning her public speaking proficiency. She began earning national recognition as a writer during Middle School. Her High School years continued to encourage Lindsey’s academic interest by providing an individually tailored schedule in small classes taught by Abiqua’s master teachers including college-level professors. Abiqua, along with Lindsey’s personal dedication, academic focus, and the quest for knowledge has proven an excellent combination. This spring, she will graduate from Abiqua a confident, well-informed, young woman, ready to progress down the path of her educational journey.

We are proud to announce Lindsey had a wonderful array of college acceptances from which to choose: University of Puget Sound, Occidental, University of Chicago, Cornell, Columbia, and Stanford. Lindsey has accepted Stanford University’s offer of admission. As she takes these next steps toward her future, please join the Abiqua community in wishing Lindsey Williams, a warm congratulations!
